What Are We Looking For
As part of our continued growth, our Asset Management & Technical Services team are looking for an Clearscada & Telemetry Engineer to join our business on a full time, permanent basis in Reading. You’ll be working with an established team to assist in the delivery for our PSTN Framework.
Some of your key duties include:
- To provide input to all aspects of electrical projects from design right through to implementation, ensuring compliance with Client specifications and current regulatory standards.
- Take responsibility for electrical deliverables including supervision of graduate electrical engineers the procurement of goods and services.
- Preparing electrical work scope estimates and quotations
- Completing contract works information documents.
- Produce risk assessments and method statements.
- Manage quality, environmental and health and safety matters on allocated projects.
What do you need?
- Degree/HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Clearscada experience
- Telemetry experience
- Experience within the water or other technically complex industries
- Knowledge of British Standards
- Knowledge of customer's products and markets
- Knowledge of customer's processes and procedures
- Some knowledge in strategic planning and risk management
- Excellent decision-making skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven track record as an Electrical Engineer in both a design office and in construction
- Full UK Driving Licence.
