Mechanical Coordinator

What Are We Looking For?

RSE is delighted to welcome applications for our Mechanical Coordinator position based in Muir of Ord to join us on a permanent basis. You will work closely with our Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team to co-ordinate the planning, manpower, materials, on-site works and snagging of mechanical biased projects, while acting as the liaison between the site and the project teams.

Some of Your Key Duties Include:

  • Co-ordinate mechanical site works, acting as liaison between the on-site team and the project management team.
  • Review drawings, works information packs and technical data for site raising any relevant queries and ensuring resulting actions are carried out prior to commencement of project where practical.
  • Organise delivery of material to site as per schedule.
  • Identify Manpower resource requirements and organise with Senior Management.
  • Set out expectations with onsite personnel through works information packs etc.
  • Check that works are being carried out to timescale and to the required standard/quality.
  • Raise mechanical issues identified through snagging or non-spec compliance.
  • Ensure all issues as above are addressed and rectified before site personnel leave site at end of project.
  • Comply with Ross-shire Engineering’s Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental management systems.

What Do You Need?

  • Mechanical biased NC/HNC/MA/Degree or equivalent.
  • Proven on-site experience, supervisory experience advantageous.
  • Ability to follow/interpret/explain technical instructions.
  • Sound knowledge Mechanical disciplines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Full UK Driving Licence
