What Are We Looking For?

RSE is delighted to welcome applications for our Head Office in Inverness as we look to hire a Receptionist to join the team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who can use their initiative to deliver excellent customer service within a busy office environment and enjoys engaging with stakeholders. You will be supported by an experienced team whilst utilising your expertise with a highly regarded business.

Some of Your Key Duties Include:

  • To ensure that all incoming calls are answered in a timely, efficient and courteous manner
  • To ensure that where necessary, all messages are written down or e-mailed and passed to the recipient without delay
  • Greet customers at front desk in a friendly, energetic, personable, professional and polite manner. Determine their nature and purpose of visit and provide them with relevant information where required
  • Ensure that all visitors fill in the visitor’s book on entry and exit of the building
  • Ensure that meetings rooms are tidy and clear throughout the day and the reception area is tidy at all times
  • Manage requests for stationery and ensure items ordered as well as the stock taking and management of supplies
  • Maintain contact lists covering all RSE group offices and sites
  • Ensure all incoming mail is distributed accordingly and any outgoing mail is ready for collection/delivery
  • To assist other departments where required and carry out all other tasks as requested by management, within the post holder’s appropriate skill set

What Do You Need?

  • Previous experience in a Receptionist position
  • Ability to make visitors feel welcome by utilising a personable approach to service and maintaining a positive attitude
  • Be self-motivated and display initiative
  • Good knowledge of software packages including MS Outlook, MS Word and Excel
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
