What Are We Looking For?

Aquazone is looking for a QSHE Manager to join us on a permanent basis at our offices in Great Yarmouth. You would be responsible for developing, implementing, & maintaining the company's QSHE management system to ensure compliance with relevant standards & regulations, promote a safe & healthy work environment, & minimise environmental impact. This includes creating & enforcing policies, creating method statements, conducting risk assessments, leading investigations, & driving continuous improvement initiatives.

With an established fleet of temporary bulk storage & dosing systems, combined with our extensive off-site fabrication capabilities & several framework agreements with the leading UK Water Authorities, we are primed to continue our growth journey.

Some of Your Key Duties Include:

  • Creating and implementing QHSE policies, procedures, and management systems aligned with relevant standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) and legal requirements.
  • Identifying potential hazards and risks, conducting risk assessments, and implementing measures to mitigate or eliminate them.
  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable QHSE laws and regulations, conducting audits and inspections to assess performance, and addressing non-conformities.
  • Developing and delivering QHSE training programs for employees, promoting a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
  • Leading or participating in the investigation of QHSE incidents, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective and preventative actions.
  • Tracking and analysing QHSE performance data, preparing reports for management, and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Developing and maintaining emergency response plans and procedures, ensuring preparedness for various emergencies.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, clients, and suppliers, to ensure QHSE requirements are met.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve QHSE performance and implementing initiatives to achieve best practices.

What Do You Need?

  • Relevant qualifications, such as NEBOSH or equivalent.
  • Background in Manufacturing would be preferred
  • Strong knowledge of QHSE management systems, standards, and regulations.
  • Experience in developing and implementing QHSE policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to conduct risk assessments and investigations.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
